A pattern tool built around systems, not flattened effects.

Pattern Generator is designed and developed by José DA COSTA as an SVG-first workspace for exploring, constructing, and delivering editable geometric patterns.

Working principles

How the library is built and maintained.

The source remains editable

Patterns are rendered as SVG geometry. The editor, saved document, public preview, and export resolve through the same generator definitions so the visible result and reusable source do not drift apart.

Each family keeps its own logic

A ring field, wave system, diagonal grid, modular Bauhaus composition, and optical interference study expose different controls. The library favors meaningful construction parameters over one universal effect panel.

Variation must change the result

Named presets are resolved and compared when the catalog is built. Exact setting duplicates point to one canonical result, while distinct configurations remain discoverable and editable.

Public sharing is an explicit choice

Account creations are private by default. A public pseudonym is separate from login details, and publication requires server-side review of public text and the rendered image before a creation enters the community directory.

Inspect the systems directly.
