1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Pattern Generator, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Pattern Generator is a free online tool that allows users to create, customize, and export parametric SVG patterns. The service includes a library of Swiss-design, Bauhaus, and geometric pattern generators, as well as saving patterns locally in your browser, optionally synchronizing them to an account, sharing them via URL, and exporting them as SVG or image files.

3. User Content

Patterns you create remain local while you use the service without an account. When you sign in, saved creations, folders, workspace state, and preferences are uploaded to and stored with your account. When you share a pattern via URL, its configuration is encoded in the link itself, and anyone with the link can view and reuse it.

Public gallery publishing is a separate, explicit action. Published creations display the public pseudonym you choose and remain subject to automated review of the creation name, allowed text layers, and rendered preview. Rejected or unreviewed content remains private, and you may withdraw an approved publication from the gallery.

You retain all rights to your original creations. Patterns you create remain solely yours.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for activity performed through your account. Notify us through the contact page if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Share content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the service

5. Intellectual Property

The Pattern Generator application, including its design, code, and features, is the intellectual property of José DA COSTA. Patterns you create using the tool are yours to use freely for personal and commercial projects.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Pattern Generator or its creator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
