Design for the content that will sit above it
A useful web background creates depth without competing with text, controls, or imagery. The editor exposes brightness, saturation, contrast, grain, scale, repeat, and weight so the surface can be tested as a quiet texture or a deliberate graphic field.
Because every color remains editable, the same motif can serve a light section, dark hero, branded card, or presentation cover. Palette mapping makes it possible to bring an existing design system into the pattern instead of approximating it one swatch at a time.
Choose vector or raster based on deployment
SVG is ideal when clean geometry, recoloring, and resolution independence matter. PNG preserves transparency and sharp edges; JPEG suits opaque photographic workflows; WebP offers a compact web-oriented raster option. The export preview makes the tradeoff visible before download.
The web preset selects practical defaults, while advanced controls cover dimensions, quality, source minification, compression, filenames, and batches. Preferences are remembered in the browser so repeat exports do not require the same setup every time.
