Vector pattern tool
A free SVG pattern generator that keeps the source editable.
Start with a real geometric system rather than a flattened picture. Every specimen opens with its own spacing, density, shape, stroke, color, repeat, and export controls, so the result can move from quick exploration to production-ready vector source without being rebuilt.

Working specimens
Open the pattern, then change the system.
These are live entry points, not decorative examples. Every pattern opens with its generator-specific controls, global layout, palette, history, and export settings intact.
Vector geometry instead of an exported screenshot
The generator composes each motif as SVG geometry and uses the same rendering path for the editor, saved creation, shared view, and export. Lines remain lines, curves remain curves, and flat colors remain straightforward to inspect or change after download.
Global controls handle repeat, rotation, spacing, padding, scale, grain, and pattern weight. Generator-specific controls keep the distinctive mathematics of a wave, ring, grid, stripe, or modular composition available instead of reducing every design to the same generic template.
A practical export path for design and development
Preview the final composition before download, switch to source when you need to inspect the markup, and choose readable, compact, or minified SVG output. Batch naming, gzip compression, and web-oriented presets cover handoff as well as direct production use.
When a vector is not the right delivery format, the same artwork can be rendered to PNG, JPEG, or WebP at controlled dimensions and quality. That keeps the visual result consistent across a website, presentation, print proof, or social asset.
Workflow
From a starting proof to reusable source.
Choose a geometric system
Open an original generator or a visually distinct preset from the searchable pattern directory.
Tune the tile and palette
Adjust the motif, repeat, color relationships, imported palette, stroke weight, and composition size live.
Preview and export
Verify the composition, inspect the SVG source if useful, then download one file or a consistently named batch.

Questions before you start
Does the tool export real SVG source?
Yes. The SVG export includes editable vector markup, and the export dialog lets you preview the rendered result or inspect the source before downloading it.
Can I use my own colors?
Yes. You can edit individual colors, apply built-in palettes, or import up to 5,000 colors from JSON, CSS, text, or Markdown and remap the artwork by perceptual similarity.
Is an account required?
No account is required to explore generators or export work. An account is optional for synchronized saved creations and controlled public publishing.
